Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. She is most famous for her part as Skyler White in The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre at Northwestern University. Anna started her acting career with Chicago-area theaters for a short time. She then moved on to television and film. Anna was chosen to play Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. In the early 90s she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. Skyler appeared as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully as well as Deadwood was another movie she was a part of. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn participated in an audio-play podcast called "Numbered days". Breaking Bad's story is usually driven by the relationship with Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The degrading of this relationship is akin to Walter White's final years.
