Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother. Her role has been famous actress on TV. Her parents are Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. It wasn't long before she relocated to Texas. She began a career as a physical therapist. De La Garza stayed in Texas only a short time prior to moving in Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of roles in acting, such as local independent films and commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering she loved acting. Following her move to New York, in 2001 she got her first part as a performer on All My Children. Throughout the first decade of 2000 she appeared in tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in the year 2004 on the short dramatic The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. Her character then flocked to the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated numerous times for her performance, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008, she won the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time later. She played Marisol Deko, as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio. Most recent TV appearance was in the role of Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's somewhat dark drama Do No Harm. The show was ended after only two episodes.
